Definition

Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) usually means broader asset software than a pure CMMS — often including inventory, planning, and some financial hooks. Traditional EAM still frequently leaves lifecycle custody and continuous reconciliation fragmented. EALM emphasizes one identity across procure-to-dispose with operations, finance, and audit writing to the same record.
