Definition

An asset registry (or digital asset register) is the system of record that holds each asset’s identity and the facts teams depend on — location, owner, status, financial attributes, and history. In an EALM model the registry is what keeps lifecycle stages coherent instead of scattering truth across spreadsheets and siloed tools.
