Definition
Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) locate tagged assets indoors or on campus using technologies such as RFID, BLE, or UWB. RTLS feeds become useful for EALM when location events update the same asset identity used for custody, work, and audit — not a separate map that teams never reconcile.
